Create a new page in WordPress titled “About Me” and add a short description of yourself.
- Publish the page and verify it appears in the site’s navigation menu.
Method:
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Go to Pages → Add New.
- In the Title field, enter:
About Me - In the content area, add a short description, for example:Hello! My name is [Your Name], and I am passionate about learning and sharing knowledge through my website. This blog is where I post my ideas, experiences, and helpful content for readers. Thank you for visiting my site!
- Click the Publish button in the top-right corner.
- Click Publish again to confirm.
Verify It Appears in the Navigation Menu
- Go to Appearance → Menus (or Appearance → Editor → Navigation if using a block theme).
- Check if the About Me page is already listed in the menu.
- If it is not listed:
- Click Add Items (or select the page from the left panel).
- Choose About Me.
- Click Add to Menu.
- Click Save Menu.
- Visit your website homepage and confirm that About Me appears in the navigation menu and opens correctly when clicked.
