  1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

Explore and Activate a New Theme

  1. Go to Appearance → Themes.
  2. Click Add New Theme.
  3. Browse available themes or use the search bar to find a theme (e.g., search by design, layout, or features).
  4. Click Preview to see how a theme looks on your site.
  5. Click Install on the theme you choose.
  6. After installation, click Activate to make it your current theme.

Change Site Colors or Fonts

  1. Go to Appearance → Customize (or Appearance → Editor for block themes).
  2. Open the Colors or Typography section (options vary depending on the theme).
  3. Change:
  • Background color
  • Header color
  • Text color
  • Font style or size
  1. Click Publish (or Save) to apply the changes.

Edit Homepage Layout (If Applicable)

  1. Go to Pages → All Pages.
  2. Open your Home page (or create one via Pages → Add New).
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Add, remove, or rearrange blocks (such as headings, images, columns, or buttons) to change the layout.
  5. Click Update to save changes.

If needed, go to Settings → Reading and ensure your homepage is set to display a Static Page, selecting your edited Home page.

  1. Visit your website to confirm the new theme, updated colors/fonts, and homepage layout changes are visible.
