Methods to Create an Indian Railway Website in WordPress
- Install WordPress and log in to the Dashboard.
- Install and Activate a Theme
- Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New.
- Choose a suitable theme, Install, and Activate.
- Create Pages
- Go to Pages → Add New.
- Create pages like: Home, Train Services, Bookings, Contact.
- Click Publish.
- Insert Images
- Edit a page.
- Click + Add Block → Image.
- Upload an image from your computer or select from the media library.
- Add caption or alt text if needed.
- Click Update.
- Modify Existing Template
- Go to Appearance → Customize.
- Change colors, fonts, header/footer, and layout options.
- For block themes, use Site Editor → Templates to edit page templates directly.
- Save/Publish changes.
- Set Up Navigation Menu
- Go to Appearance → Menus.
- Add all pages to the menu and assign to Primary Menu.
- Save Menu.
- Preview and Verify
- Visit the front-end to confirm pages, images, and template changes are applied correctly.
