Rearrange and Remove Widgets in WordPress
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Go to Appearance → Widgets.
- Locate the Sidebar (or Footer) widget area.
Rearrange Widgets
- Hover over the widget you want to move.
- Click and drag it to the desired position within the widget area.
- Release the mouse to drop it in place.
Remove a Widget
- Find the widget you want to remove (e.g., Meta).
- Click the widget to expand it.
- Click Delete (or Remove) to remove it from the widget area.
- Visit your website’s front-end and confirm:
- Widgets are in the new order
- The removed widget no longer appears in the Sidebar or Footer
